Benvolent Society of Commodores - 2nd Annual End of Summer Poker Run or Lake Saint Louis

Yesterday my wife and I, along with our friends Dianne Brown and Marty Solomon ,spent the day enjoying the great hospitality offered by our community. The Poker Run has very little to do with Poker and a lot to do with spending time socializing within our community. We took our boat out and cruised from one home to the next enjoying food, drinks, games and, most of all, socializing with our friends and neighbors.

While there were a number of excellent themes (football, pirates, and octoberfest) my favorite had to be Octoberfest. The host offered bratwurst, a wide selection of excellent german beer and had everyone dancing polka's. Here are some fun pictures from the days activities. Thank you for sharing John. What a great weekend. I truly appreciate everyone's hard work and participation that made the weekend possible and successful.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the workday on October 21st to help make Zachary's Playground come to life. If the raffle for the golfball grill hits its goal we will reach our target of raising $3,000 for the Unlimited Play - Zachary's Playground project.

I love this community. You are the best friends and neighbors anyone could ever have.
