I quick blogger update. Last week I held my movie fundraiser for the DeMolay youth group and it was very successful. We raised over $400 and had at least 50 people show up for the event. It was really awesome transforming the Troy lodge into a movie theatre. I placed my 11ft diagonal tripod screen in the North of the lodge and sat everyone in the South. My cartoons were very well received as was the feature film. It was definately a great idea for a fund raiser since everyone had a lot of fun and we raised quite a bit of money. My next big movie showing is going to be in my home. On Saturday, October 22 I am going to be sponsoring the Saturday Night Screening Room. Check out my new lodge. I am planning on getting a dual membership in the Napthali Lodge #25 which meets at the New Temple, 3861 Lindell Boulevard. He was so much fun to be around that everyone gravitated to him just to feel that joy. It is now our responsibility to live our lives the same way. Last evening I went to the Cardinals game with Marty and his family. Unfortunately I had to leave after the bottom of the 7th inning because Alex has to get up very early for school in the morning. It would have been almost another hour if we had stayed till the end of the game. That's ok, it was still a fun evening and I got to listen to the big finish while driving in my car. David Eckstein hit a single to end the game in the bottom of the 9th; sending everyone else home happy. Just a reminder, I am having my first big movie showing on Saturday e
