The Moolah Shrine Circus Parade

What a surprising coincidence. My friend Adam Moravanszky stumbled across a parade in Zurich this weekend and posted pictures on his website. As chance would have it, today I was *in* my first parade ever as a Shriner. The Moolah Shriner's Circus Parade was today. I drove my BMW convertible with the DeMolay Sweetheart Destiny Hall, and the Associate Sweetheart Jessica Fox. It was a lot of fun and my wife took some pictures.

In fact, I just transferred all of the pictures from my camera this evening and I decided to bump my recently depressing posts with some happier memories of things, people, and activities in my life.

Our Moolah Shrine Sweetheart wearing my Shriner's hat and sitting on the back of my car, Chelsea Thomasson is also the Worthy Advisor of Wentzville Rainbow Assembly sponsored by my lodge. I don't know the name of the young man sitting next to her, and wearing her crown, but I will revise the post when I find out.

Here I am in the parade with our Sweetheart, Associate Sweetheart, and Little Sis. In the passenger seat is Dad Ted Fox.

Well, that's all of the pictures. As an update to the health situation with my father, he was told by his doctors that they are not sure the spots on his liver are malignant. While I would be happy to hear my father's health situation may not be as dire as it sounded earlier this week, it was nevertheless an emotional roller coaster to go through. He is still recovering from cancer, the question is how serious is it in the long run. I don't know, but I am happy he is hopeful now.

This has been a crazy past few days. On Friday I attended Curtis' funeral, on Saturday I attended the wedding of our friends Joey and Maggie. On Saturday night I attended both the Scottish Rite Youth Ball *and* Joey and Maggie's wedding reception. This Sunday I was in the Moolah Shrine Circus parade.

Meanwhile, I have a busy work-week coming up and next weekend is action packed. On Friday I will be taking twenty friends and neighbors to the Moolah Shrine Circus. On Saturday we will be attending a craft fair and festival and Daniel Boone's home and Saturday evening we will be listening to 'Bone Daddy and the Blue's Shakers' at the Lake Saint Louis Community Association clubhouse. On Sunday I will be taking twelve of my friends and family to see the Saint Louis Cardinals at the new stadium.

As you can see my calendar is very busy. You can always see what I am up to by checking my online calender here.

After next weekend I'm sure I will have some new pictures to post!
