I just saw the best movie I have ever seen that received bad reviews. The film was almost universally trashed, and the bad reviews influenced me so much I chose not to watch it in the theatres; even though I thought the previews looked fantastic. The film is "The Butterfly Effect" and is fantastic production. I would recommend, if you watch it, to view the Directors Cut, not the theatrical release which wimps out on the ending.
This film received only 33% on Rotten Tomatoes but I would give it an 85 to 90. It is like Groundhog Day on crack, and that's not a bad thing.
